The Miura TC-202 QPQ irons are the 2025 successor to the highly acclaimed TC-201. Standing for "Tour Cavity," these irons are designed to bridge the gap between the surgical precision of a muscle-back blade (like the MB-101) and the playability of a full cavity back (like the CB-302).
Key Upgrades & Technology
The TC-202 introduces several significant design shifts intended to improve stability without sacrificing the legendary Miura "soft-solid" feel.
The T-Weight Bar: Inspired by the classic CB-57, this new bar in the cavity reintroduces center-mass weight distribution. It moves mass away from the toe (where it was on the TC-201) and places it directly behind the hitting zone to enhance feel and help the face square up at impact.
Variable Depth Cavity: The weighting is progressive throughout the set. Long irons have a lower, deeper center of gravity (CG) for easier launch, while short irons feature a higher CG for a flatter, more controlled flight with higher spin.
Refined Y-Grind Sole: The leading edge has more relief, and the toe is slightly narrower (a nod to the KM-700 design). This improves turf interaction for players with a steeper angle of attack.
Inclusion of a Gap Wedge: Based on feedback that better players use gap wedges for full shots, Miura now includes a dedicated 50° Gap Wedge in the TC-202 set
